Christmas with 3:11

On a cold Christmas Eve, We met a mother and her 4 young children, "The C Family." Their school counselor contacted us on the very last day before holiday break with a desperate plea for help with their case. It had been a hard year for them- an unfortunate life change left these children homeless, their mom a single mother with no job and certainly no hope of gifts from Santa.

Because you stepped in to bless this family, their Christmas was merry. The children  received new clothing, jackets and blankets to keep them warm, new shoes to last through the school year and so much more. Though they celebrated Christmas from their van in a parking lot, their little faces were glowing. Their giggles and the joy on their faces were immeasurable. You provided the gift of hope and love.

This year, the C family will celebrate Christmas from the warmth of their home. The hope and self confidence that you provided helped pave the way to a new life for them.

Thousands of children right here in our community are waiting on their Christmas miracle, just like Family C's. Last year, the generosity of our donors blessed more than 1,600 children with the gift of Christmas.

Thanks to you, the heroic 'Santas' of west Texas, we're able to begin preparations for another busy holiday season as we anticipate serving more than 2,000 underprivileged children in our local schools.

Will you join us?  Will you #BeTheBlessing & join us on this beautiful holiday journey?

About 311's Christmas Projects:

Midland County Angels

The annual spreading of Christmas joy to children across Midland- this project was the beginning of 3:11 Ministries.  Our 2017 project provided Christmas blessings for 1,614 children in Midland!
Working with our local schools, we team up with our local friends & businesses to ensure each child in our community has a blessed Christmas.  We find sponsors for children in need to provide them with new clothing, shoes and of course, toys!  After our big collection of blessings, we host Wrapping Around the Christmas Tree, a party for volunteers to come together and wrap every gift for every child.

Socks from Santa provides every child from our Christmas project with a stocking filled with goodies straight from the North Pole!

Share the Warmth is a project that provides each child in need with the winter essentials: a blanket, warm hat & gloves.  These gifts are added to the children's Christmas packages so they can keep warm while playing with their new toys!
